About me:

Hi there! I’m Kelly Nelius, owner of Wild Habitat LLC, a short term rental management business in Palmer, Alaska. 

I’m an Alaskan transplant who moved up to the Palmer and the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska with a young family nearly 15 years ago. In addition to running Wild Habitat LLC, I’m also a real estate licensee working with Valley Market Real Estate.

In past iterations of my life, I have been a cultural anthropologist, a graduate student, a librarian, a homeschool parent, a web designer, a hockey team treasurer, and a vagabond traveller. I spent my entire childhood living in one house, then my young adult years moving from place to place and traveling from country to country before settling down in Alaska to raise a family. I’ve grown to appreciate having a place to call home and consistent community, but never lost that love of traveling, which makes vacation rental management a perfect fit for me. I am continuously falling in love with the entrepreneurial spirit of Palmer and the Mat-Su Valley, and love the opportunity to connect visitors with our community. I’m also a relentless researcher and have spent countless hours learning about the ins and outs of airbnb management and seo best practices, pricing strategy, and how to create a phenomenal guest experience.
